Nice makron and nice call Jim on the stop placement.
Question Jim?
How important is chart data? Take look at these 2 charts that are on the 4 hour time frame (and currency GBPUSD) as makron's.
One form Spot Trader and one from StrategyBuilderFX.
I think I answered my own question.
Jim
See you next month at the PF where I will be rejoining.

Have I missed something?

The break of the the Double Top is what was standing out (screaming out) to me.

one thing i have not done is hurry things just to stoke subscriptions. in fact we may limit subscriptions at some point. what we have done has been very well recieved and our intention is to just keep increasing the amount of material and value not to mention an easier delivery.

Jim,
Any idea on the ETA of the new website?
I am thinking of rejoining next month or should I wait for the website.

I not James16 (I wish), but I have found that OrangeRoshan's SRDC Method with James16 price action to be quite successful.
Don't get me wrong "james price action method" is great on its own.

Same chart from post #1286
Same chart from post #1286 different method, same james16 price action.
I use the daily high/low as res/sup (also weekly high/low) (OrangeRoshan's SRDC method)
3 lots (demo), 2 lots for 15-20 pips, last lot : let it ride.
Stop loss very shallow. 15-20 pips and get to break even real quick.
Probably to quick sometime but I don't care - I hate losses.
James16 your comments are obviously welcomed.

Price action, trust it.
Beautiful picture of the USDJPY Daily Inside Bar in early Dec., Jim.
The Weekly DBH Break looked just as pretty. (Inside bar would have gotten you in earlier. )
Looking forward to the new web site. Keep up the great work.

I try to avoid time frames lower then the 4 hour. The Cad has been very good to me or is it that my James16 trading is getting better, I expect the latter.
Jim
P.S. Goodthings, I love your inputs on the forum, especially on GBP Patterns, Facts, Trivia

Nice analylsis. Simple but very informative. Your exit I am assuming was when the Cad was on the way up
|
Yes it was exited on the way up. I was going to buy once it blew past the pivot zone but i usually get burned when i trade against the trend. (don't we all)
